Oncology Center

Harat Brain Tumor Research in a partnership with the Franciszek Lukaszczyk Oncology Center is a translational science initiative established by Prof. Marek Harat, Prof. Maciej Harat and Dr. Aleksandra Harat, who focused their experience into moving further a standard of care in brain tumors therapy.

Research Central Aim

Our Brain Tumor Research central aim is to identify limitations in brain tumor treatment, finding solutions for resistance mechanism and introduce patients to novel treatment paradigms.

Research Program

Our research program is exceptionally focused on discovering new indications for innovative medical technologies such as boron-neutron capture therapy, tumor treatment fields or stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumor patients

Portfolio

We are dedicated to build a broad portfolio of investigators-driven clinical trials, combining industry-partnered technology development and validate the utility of promising new technologies using high-quality clinical trials.

Multidisciplinary Team

Our multidisciplinary team of brain tumor specialists and scientists are accelerating technology research in an effort to identify promising therapies and to changed limited treatment options and to defeat brain cancer.

Sense of the Mission

The sense of the mission and responsibility for this initiative is to increase access to innovative treatment strategies and provide an evidence-based personalized medicine for patients with brain tumors.

Team

The multidisciplinary team at the Harat Brain Tumor Center spans the spectrum of specialty investigators, including neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, clinical oncologists, biostatisticians, neuroscience nurses, clinical trial navigators, program managers, and regulatory specialists.

Collectively, we represent the unique team focusing exclusively on brain tumors. Each team member brings a different perspective and background, but our team works seamlessly to accomplish the same goal through cutting-edge brain cancer research and therapies.
